2,1km Raw Water Feeder Pipeline

The project is for the supply and installation of a new 1000mm dia. ductile iron pipeline 2.1kms long for delivery of raw water from the dam at the Municipal Dyke to the Pailles Water Treatment Plant. The work includes the new intake works at the dam wall; two river crossings of the Grand River North West in the river bed plus refurbishment of the existing and leaking 675mm dia. reinforced concrete pipeline running parallel and adjacent to the new pipeline.
