40km Sewer network & House connections

Forming part of the Plaines Wilhems Sewerage Project Stage 1, the Project objective was to connect a maximum of existing properties in the western region of Rose Hill-Beau Bassin to a new sewerage network. Carried out in JV with Chinese engineering company BCEG, the work comprised construction of approximately 38,000m of street sewers and trunk sewers together with the survey and design and construction of 3,900 new sewer house connections. The work also required the replacement of about 12,000m of existing outdated CWA water supply pipelines.
